I’ve got a pretty varied background that naturally led me to what I do now. I started out deep in science—organic chemistry, data collection, and analysis—working in the field down in South America. I almost went to medical school, but it didn’t feel like the right fit. Science has always been second nature, though, one of my first passions.
After graduating, I drifted into music and the arts, which ended up pulling me into the world of startups and sales. Over time, I’ve been able to mix all of that—science, creativity, and business—into a pretty unique skill set. These days, I live in that blend, selling, creating, and optimizing, which makes me a natural fit for something like Bootstrapped or operating on platforms like GitHub. It’s basically the nexus of everything I’ve been doing all along.
