First things first, log in to your Xano account. Head over to the dashboard where you manage all your data.

On the left sidebar, you'll see "Databases." Click on that, then pick the specific database that has the data you want to anonymize.

Now, within that database, find the table that holds the data you need to anonymize. Click on it to open up the table's details.

In the table's details view, look for the "Anonymization" tab. Click on it to get to Xano’s anonymization tools.

Inside the "Anonymization" tab, you'll see various settings. Here, you can specify which columns should be anonymized and choose the type of anonymization, like random strings or masks.

After setting everything up, hit the "Apply" button to put those anonymization rules into action on the selected data columns. Double-check the changes before finalizing.

Once you're happy with the configuration, save the changes. Xano will start anonymizing the specified data based on the rules you’ve set.

Go back to the table and review the anonymized data. Make sure all the selected columns have been anonymized correctly. If needed, tweak the settings and reapply.

For ongoing data anonymization, you can set up automation rules in Xano. Head to the "Automations" tab and create a new rule that triggers the anonymization process during specific events, like data entry.

Keep an eye on the anonymized data regularly to ensure it meets privacy standards. Make adjustments as needed to maintain data integrity and security.
