First things first, log in to Webflow and head over to the dashboard. Pick the project you want to back up.
Once you're in the project, look for the "Project Settings" button. It's usually hanging out in the top right corner. Click it to dive into the settings.
In "Project Settings", find the "Backups" tab. This is your go-to spot for managing all your backups.
To make a new backup, hit the “Create a Backup” button. You can add a description if you want, just to make it easier to find later.
You'll see a confirmation message pop up. Confirm it, and Webflow will take a snapshot of your project's current state.
To check out your existing backups, scroll through the list in the "Backups" tab. Each one is timestamped and might have a description if you added one.
If you need to restore a project, find the backup you want and click the “Restore” button next to it. A confirmation message will pop up; just confirm you want to restore it.
After confirming, Webflow will replace the current project state with the one from the backup. Just wait for it to finish.
Once it's done, go through your project to make sure everything is as it should be. Double-check to see if everything's in place.
