Alright, let's get started! Head over to your Webflow project and click on the “Designer” icon from the Webflow dashboard. Easy peasy.

Once you're in the Designer, look to the right-hand side of the screen. That's where you'll find the Style panel. This panel is your best friend for tweaking layouts and appearances.

Click on any element on your canvas to bring up its styling options. Then, click on the little color square next to any style property that involves color, like Background, Text Color, or Border Color.

In the color picker, you'll see an option with a bookmark icon labeled "Add Color Swatch." Click on that to add a new swatch.

Now, choose your color. You can use the color slider, input the hex code, or just click on the color spectrum. Once you've got your color, click the "+" button to add it as a swatch.

Hover over your new swatch in the color picker. A small gear icon will appear. Click on it, and from the dropdown menu, select “Make Global Swatch.”

A dialog box will pop up asking you to name your global swatch. Give it a name that makes sense for its use across your project.

To use any global swatch, just select an element, open the color picker, and click on the global swatch you want. The color will be applied using the global settings.

Need to update a global swatch? Hover over it in the color picker, click the gear icon, select “Edit Global Swatch,” and change the color. All instances using this swatch will update automatically.

If you need to delete a global swatch, hover over it, click the gear icon, and choose “Delete.” Just remember, this will revert all elements using this swatch back to their previous colors.

Using global swatches keeps your color scheme consistent and makes it super easy to update colors across your entire Webflow project.
