First things first, log in to Glide and head over to the Glide App builder interface. Pick the app you want to work on or create a new one if you’re starting fresh.

In the app builder, find the screen where you want to use the form. Click on the "+" button and choose "Button" to add a new one. Set this button’s action to "Show Form Screen."

Once you’ve set the form action, Glide will take you to the Form configuration screen. Here, you can define the main fields needed for data entry. Just drag and drop components like text entry, number entry, choice components, and so on.

To add nested forms, drag a new "Button" component into the Form layout. Give this button a label that makes it clear it’s for more detailed data entry, like "Add Address Details." Set this button’s action to "Show Form Screen."

For each nested form button, Glide will open another Form Screen configuration. Add the specific fields needed for this nested context. Repeat this process for as many nested forms as you need, essentially embedding one form within another.

Make sure each nested form correctly links its data back to the main form or the related data structure. This might involve using unique IDs or relational fields that help connect the data hierarchically.

After setting up all nested forms, thoroughly test the form functionality from a user perspective. Make sure each nested form displays correctly and that data flows properly back into the main app database.

Adjust any design or functional nuances based on testing feedback. Once satisfied, publish the app and ensure users are informed about the new complex data entry capability provided by nested forms.
