Fire up the Glide App in your browser and head over to the project where you want to add the Favorites component.

Click on the "Design" tab in the left sidebar to get to the Layout Editor. This is where you can tweak and set up different parts of your app.

If you don't already have a List or Collection component on your screen, click the "+" button and pick either "List" or "Collection." You need one of these because the Favorites component works with them.

Click on the List or Collection component you just added or the one you want to enable favorites for. In the right-hand properties panel, find the "Features" section. Look for the "Favorites" toggle and switch it on.

Once you've turned on the Favorites feature, a new "Favorites" tab will pop up at the bottom of the screen in the layout editor. Click on this tab to set up what users will see when they check out their favorite items. You can add images, descriptions, and other important info.

Inside the Favorites tab, make the design match your app's style. Tweak settings like item layout, card size, and any extra components you want to include in each favorite item.

Preview your app to make sure the Favorites feature is working right. Add and remove items from the Favorites list to see if everything's functioning as it should.

When you're happy with the setup and testing, go ahead and publish your app. Make sure your users can access the new Favorites feature for quick access to their favorite items.

By following these steps, the Favorites component will be up and running in your Glide app.
