First things first, log in to the Glide platform. Pick the app you want to work on or start a new one.

Head over to the left-hand panel and click on the "Layout" tab. This opens up the drag-and-drop interface where you can add and tweak different components for your app.

In the Layout Editor, find the "Components" section, usually on the right side. Click the "+" icon to add something new to your screen.

From the list of components, find and select the "Audio Player" component. This will plop the audio player right onto your screen.

Now, in the configuration panel that pops up after adding the audio player, you'll see a field to input the source of your audio file. You can either:

• Use a file URL: Just paste the link to the audio file hosted online.
• Use a file from your data: Pick a column from your app’s data that has the URLs to the audio files.

You can make the audio player look and work just the way you want:

• Title: Add a title that will show up above the audio player.
• Subtitle: Optionally, you can add a subtitle for more context or info.
• Visibility: Set conditions for when the audio player should be visible based on your app's logic.

After setting up the audio player, it's super important to test it out. Switch to "Preview" mode to see how the audio player looks and works in your app. Make sure the audio plays correctly and the controls do what they're supposed to.

Once you're happy with everything, save your changes. If all is good, publish your app to make the audio player available to your users.
