Grab the selection tool (V), then click and drag to pick the layers or objects you want to tweak. Make sure everything you want to adjust is inside that selection box.

Once you've got your layers selected, look for those tiny handles or dots at the edges and corners of the selection box. These are your Smart Selection Handles, perfect for quick adjustments.

To tweak the spacing between your selected objects, just click and drag one of those Smart Selection Handles. Pulling the handle inward decreases the spacing, while pushing it outward increases it. Hold down the Shift key to make the spacing adjustment uniformly.

Smart Selection also makes alignment a breeze. With your objects selected, hold down the Alt key (or Option on Mac) and drag. You'll see guidelines pop up to help you align the objects neatly, either vertically or horizontally.

To quickly reorder the objects, just drag any selected object to a new spot. As you drag, Figma will automatically adjust the spacing between the objects to keep them evenly distributed.

For more specific tweaks, right-click on the selected objects to bring up a contextual menu. Here you can find options like "Distribute Vertically" or "Distribute Horizontally" for more precise distribution.

For extra precision, check out the Properties panel on the right-hand side of Figma. Here, you can manually adjust the spacing values, alignment, and other properties to fine-tune the layout of your selected objects.

After adjusting the objects, group them by pressing Ctrl + G (or Cmd + G on Mac) if you plan to move or manipulate them further as a single entity. Alternatively, use a frame (Shift + A) to create an auto-layout frame, which can be super handy for responsive design adjustments.
