How to Use Bubble.io Workflows to Manage Subscriptions Create a Subscription Data Type

Go to the Data tab and create a new data type called “Subscription.”
Add relevant fields such as “Plan Name,” “Start Date,” “End Date,” “User,” and “Status.”

Set Up Payment API Integration

In the Plugins tab, install the relevant payment processing plugin (e.g., Stripe).
Configure the plugin with your API keys and set up webhook endpoints for events like successful payment, subscription updates, etc.

Create Subscription Plans

Under the Data tab, manually add entries for your subscription plans in the Subscription data type.
Include details like price, duration, and any special features.

Build Subscription Workflow

Go to the Workflows tab and create a new workflow triggered by a subscription-related event (e.g., when a user clicks the “Subscribe” button).
Add an action to charge the user through your payment provider. Configure the action to include the correct payment details.
Include another action to create a Subscription record in your database. Populate it with relevant data.
Add a final action to update the user’s status and send a confirmation email.

Automate Renewal Reminders

Create a recurring workflow in the Workflows tab to send renewal reminder emails a week before the subscription end date.
