Adalo's media player component provides a flexible way to easily add audio and video playback to your apps. This tool allows you to boost user experience, offering capabilities like play, pause, and volume control directly in your application. Before you start, it's important to know how to add this component to your Adalo project, explore its customization features, and connect it to your media files. Being comfortable with Adalo's user interface will make the integration much more straightforward.
Alright, first things first, log in to Adalo with your credentials. If you don't have an account yet, no worries! Just sign up on their website.
Next up, either create a new app or open one you've already started. We're going to add a media player component to it.
Head over to the left sidebar and click on the "Marketplace" icon. This will take you to Adalo's component marketplace.
In the marketplace, use the search bar at the top. Type in "Media Player" and hit enter. You'll see the media player component pop up.
Click on the media player component from the search results. A detailed view will show up. Just click the "Install" button to add it to your app builder.
After it's installed, go back to the app builder. Now, drag and drop the media player component from the left sidebar into the screen where you want it.
Click on the media player component on your screen. Over on the right sidebar, you'll see some settings to configure:
Time to see if it works! Click the preview button in the top-right corner of the app builder. Play the media file to make sure everything's running smoothly.
Don't forget to save your changes by clicking the "Save" button. When you're ready, publish the app so your users can enjoy the media player component.
