First things first, log into your Adalo account. Once you're in, pick the app where you want to add the feedback form and open up the Adalo Editor.
On the left side, you'll see the components panel. Click the "+" icon to add a new screen. You can choose a blank screen or a template that fits. Name it something like "Feedback Form" so you know what it is.
Still on the left panel, find the "Components" tab and click it to open the component library.
Type "Feedback Form" in the search bar of the component library. When you find it, drag and drop it onto your new screen.
Click on the Feedback Form component to open its properties panel. Here, you can tweak the form fields. Add inputs for name, email, feedback message, and whatever else you need. Use the "Add Field" option for any extra inputs.
Scroll down in the properties panel to the "Actions" section. Decide what happens when someone submits the form. Usually, you'll want to save the data to a custom collection or send it via email.
Head over to the "Database" tab on the left panel. Create a new collection called "Feedback". Add fields like Name, Email, Message, and any others that match your form fields.
Go back to the Feedback Form component, open the properties panel, and bind each input field to the corresponding field in the "Feedback" collection. This makes sure the data gets saved correctly.
Make your feedback form look good! In the properties panel, you can change colors, fonts, button styles, and other design elements to match your app’s theme.
Click the preview button in the upper right corner of the Adalo Editor to see your app in action. Test the feedback form to make sure all fields work and submissions are saved as they should be.
Finally, link your Feedback Form screen to an existing screen in your app, like a "Contact Us" button or an in-app navigation menu. This way, users can easily find and use the feedback form.
