Head over to Airtable. If you’re new, sign up for an account. If you’ve been here before, just log in.

• Hit the "Add a base" button in your Airtable workspace.
• Choose "Start from scratch" to whip up a new base.

Feel free to rename the default table. For this example, let's call it "Survey Responses". Now, tweak the columns to fit your survey needs:

• Name: Single line text.
• Email Address: Single line text or email.
• Question 1: Single line text, long text, multiple select, or single select—whatever fits.
• Question 2: Same options as Question 1.
• Etc.: Keep adding columns for each survey question.

• Click on the "Forms" button in the views sidebar.
• Add a new form by clicking "Add a Form".
• Link the form fields to the corresponding columns in your "Survey Responses" table.
• Rearrange or rename the form fields to make them user-friendly.
• Optionally, add descriptions or placeholder text for each field.

• Click on the settings icon (gear icon) on the form builder screen.
• Customize settings like:
• Form title: Give it a meaningful title.
• Description: Explain what the survey is about.
• Submit button text: Customize the submit button (e.g., “Submit Survey”).

• Click the "Share form" button in the top right corner of the form builder.
• Copy the shareable link or click on "Embed this form on your site" for embedding options.
• Share the link with your audience via email, social media, or embed it on your website.

• Open the "Survey Responses" table to see incoming responses.
• Use Airtable’s built-in filtering, grouping, and sorting features to analyze the data.
• Optionally, create additional views (grid, gallery, calendar, etc.) to visualize response data in different formats.

• Use Airtable Automations to create automated follow-up actions like sending thank-you emails, notifications, or triggering workflows based on specific responses.
• Navigate to "Automations" in the views sidebar, then set up automation rules and actions according to your needs.

• If you need to analyze the data outside Airtable, export it by clicking on "Download CSV" under the “View menu” of your "Survey Responses" view.
• Choose the file format and download the survey data to your local machine.

By following these steps, you can set up a fully functional survey system in Airtable, capable of collecting, viewing, and analyzing responses efficiently.
