How to set default values in Bubble.io’s database?

Step 1: Accessing the Data Tab

Log in to your Bubble.io account and open the application where you want to set default values.
Navigate to the Data tab in the left-hand menu. This is where you can manage your database.

Step 2: Creating a New Data Type (if necessary)

If you haven't already created the Data Type you want to set default values for, click on the "Data Types" section under the Data tab.
Click the "New Type" button to create a new Data Type. Provide a name for your Data Type.

Step 3: Adding Fields to the Data Type

Select the Data Type you want to work with by clicking on its name in the list.
Click the "Create a new field" button to add fields to this Data Type. Each field represents a piece of data you want to store.
Name the field and choose the appropriate field type (e.g., text, number, date).

Step 4: Setting Default Values

For each field where you want to set a default value, click the field name to open its settings.
In the field settings window, you'll see an option labeled "Default value". Enter the default value you want for this field.
Click "Save" to store the default value for that field.
