How to monitor Firebase Analytics custom events?

Step 1: Log in to the Firebase Console

Fire up your web browser and head over to the Firebase website at https://console.firebase.google.com/. Pop in your Google credentials to sign in. Once you're in, you're all set to keep an eye on those Firebase Analytics events.

Step 2: Select the Desired Project

In the Firebase console, pick the project you want to check out for custom events. If you've got a bunch of Firebase projects, they'll all be listed there. Just scroll through and click on the one you need.

Step 3: Access the Firebase Analytics Dashboard

On the left-side menu of the Firebase Console, click on 'Analytics'. A drop-down menu will pop up with different analytics options. Under 'Analytics', select 'Dashboard'.

Step 4: Navigate to the 'Events' Tab

In the Firebase Analytics Dashboard, find and click on the ‘Events’ tab. This tab is all about the events tracked by Firebase Analytics. It shows data like how many times users have triggered each event, user engagement per event, and more.

Step 5: View Your Custom Events

In the 'Events' tab, you'll see all recorded events, including auto-collected and custom events. This list shows how many times each event has been triggered and the event-specific metric values.

Scroll down to find your custom events. You can spot them by their names—remember, these are the names you gave when setting up the custom events. Click on any specific event name to monitor it. The event report will give you more detailed info about the event, like event count, user engagements, event parameters, and dynamic audience composition.

Step 6: Use Filters if Needed

If the list of events is huge, you can use filters to make things easier. You can filter by event name or by any parameter you've associated with the events.

Keep in mind that it usually takes about 24-48 hours for custom events to show up in Firebase Analytics. If you don’t see your custom events right away after they’re first triggered, that might be why.
