First things first, make sure you have active accounts on both Adalo and Zapier. You’ll need these to access all the cool features and APIs for integration.

Next up, create your app on Adalo. This is the app that will be linked with Zapier. Set up all the features you need within the Adalo app where you want the integration to happen.

1. Open your Adalo app dashboard.
2. Go to the screen or form where you want Zapier to do its thing.
3. Add a button or action component.
4. Click on the action component and select “Add Action”.
5. Choose “Custom Action” and fill in the details like API endpoint and HTTP method.

2. Click on “Make a Zap”.
3. Choose the “Webhooks by Zapier” app as the trigger.
4. Select "Catch Hook".
5. A webhook URL will pop up; copy this URL.

1. Head back to Adalo’s custom action setup.
2. Paste the webhook URL from Zapier into the custom action’s URL field.
3. Set up the request type (GET, POST, etc.) and add any necessary headers or parameters.

1. Test the Adalo action to make sure it’s triggering the Zapier webhook.
2. In Zapier, check the “Test This Step” section to see if the webhook data has been received.

1. Once the webhook is received, add an action in Zapier.
2. This action can be anything—sending an email, updating a Google Sheet, integrating with another app, you name it.
3. Configure this action with the necessary fields and steps.

1. When everything looks good, turn on the Zap in Zapier.
2. Make sure the Zap is active and check if it syncs properly with Adalo.

Keep an eye on both Adalo and Zapier dashboards to ensure the integration is running smoothly. Tweak custom actions or Zap workflows as needed.
