Add the logic to handle authorization in your new endpoint. This might mean integrating with third-party identity providers like Google or Facebook, or even custom ones. Make sure your logic can handle the token exchange to get user data.

Set up API keys or tokens that need to be submitted with authorization requests. This step is super important for keeping a secure and verified connection between the client (user) and the server.

Create a data schema to store user info from the federated identity providers. Use Xano's database management to define tables and fields for user IDs, tokens, and other relevant data.

Set up a callback URL that Xano will handle when the federated identity provider redirects back after successful authentication. Configure this URL in your endpoint settings and make sure it can parse the incoming data to validate the authentication request.

Test the whole authentication flow to make sure users can log in using federated identity providers, and their data is correctly stored and managed within Xano. Use tools like Postman to simulate authentication requests and analyze responses.

After setting up federated identity management, keep an eye on the API endpoints for any unusual activity or errors. Implement extra security measures like rate limiting and logging to make sure the system stays robust and secure.
