Moving your Webflow site to a different host means taking your completed design and setup from Webflow and putting it on another server. Once you export, you'll get all the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and asset files you need to set up your Webflow project somewhere else. Being familiar with the process and key points ensures a seamless move, keeping your design and functionality intact.
First things first, log in to the Webflow dashboard and pick the project you want to export. Easy peasy.
In the top-left corner of the Designer view, click on the "W" Webflow logo. This will open up the project settings.
Inside the project settings menu, look for the "Code Export" tab and give it a click.
Hit the "Prepare ZIP" button. Once the code is ready, download the ZIP file that has your whole project in it.
Find the downloaded ZIP file on your computer and unzip it. This will give you access to the HTML, CSS, JS, and asset files.
