First things first, open up your Figma project. Make sure everything's ready to go for the export. Double-check those designs and pages!
Click on the frame(s) you want to export. If you need to grab multiple frames, just hold down the Shift key while clicking. Or, you can use Cmd/Ctrl + A to select all frames on the current page. Easy peasy.
Look over to the right sidebar and find the “Export” section at the bottom. This is where the magic happens.
In the Export section, click the “+” icon to add an export setting. Choose “PDF” from the dropdown menu. Usually, sticking to 1x resolution works best for PDFs.
Hit the “Export [frame name/number]” button in the Export section. A file dialog will pop up. Pick where you want to save your PDF, name it, and click “Save.” Done and done.
If you’ve got multiple frames and want them in one PDF, make sure they’re all selected and in the right order. In the Export settings, select “PDF” and then click “Export [number of frames] frames.” Name your file, choose where to save it, and you’re good to go.
Head over to where you saved the PDF and open it up. Check to make sure everything looks right—layout, design, quality, the whole shebang.
