How to create a workflow to update multiple records in Bubble.io?

Step 1: Log in to Your Bubble.io Account

Navigate to Bubble.io and log in with your credentials.

Step 2: Create or Open a Project

If you already have a project, open it. Otherwise, create a new project by clicking on "Start New App".

Step 3: Set Up the Database

Go to the Data tab in the left sidebar. Here, you’ll need to have a data type that you want to update. If it doesn’t exist, create it by clicking "Create a new type".
Create all necessary fields within this data type.

Step 4: Create a New Page (Optional)

Navigate to the Design tab and create a new page if you don’t want to update records on an existing page.
Give the page a relevant name.

Step 5: Add User Interface Elements

Add any necessary input elements (like input boxes, dropdowns, etc.) where users will enter or select the data they want to update.
Add a Button element that will trigger the workflow.

Step 6: Initiate the Workflow

Go to the Workflow tab.
Click on "Click here to add an event" and choose "An element is clicked". Then select the Button you just added.

Step 7: Add Database Actions

Click "Click here to add an action" and select "Data (Things)" > "Make changes to a list of things".
For the "Type of things", choose the data type you want to update.
Set a Search constraint for which records you want to update. For example, if you want to update all records where 'Status' is 'Pending', set the constraint for that.

Step 8: Specify Fields to Update

In the "Change another field" section, specify the fields you wish to update and the new values for these fields. You can use values from the input elements you added earlier.

Step 9: Test Your Workflow

Go to Preview mode and test out your workflow by entering or selecting data in the input elements and clicking the Button. Verify that the appropriate records get updated in the database.

Step 10: Debugging and Optimization (Optional)

If your workflow doesn't work as intended, check the Debugger for any error messages.
Double-check your search constraints and field updates.

Step 11: Finalize and Deploy

Once satisfied with the workflow, you can finalize and deploy your app.
Make sure everything works as intended in both development and live versions.
