How to create a voting system in Adalo?

Step 1: Set Up Your Adalo Account

Sign up for an Adalo account or log in to your existing one at Adalo.
Click the “Create New App” button to start a new app.

Step 2: Define Your Database

Head over to the "Database" section.
Create a new collection named "Votes".

Add these fields to the "Votes" collection:
- Voter ID (Number)
- Option (Text)

Create another collection called "Options".

Add these fields:
- Name (Text)
- Vote Count (Number)

Step 3: Add Voting Screen

Add a new screen to your app, call it "Voting Screen".
Drag a "List" component to show the voting options.
Set the list to pull data from the "Options" collection.
Configure the list item to display the "Name" field.

Step 4: Add Voting Action

Select the list item component.
Create a new action for the list item under "Click Actions".
Choose the "Update" action to update the "Options" collection.

Increment the "Vote Count" by 1.

Add another action to create a new record in the "Votes" collection to log the vote.

Set "Voter ID" to "Logged in User > ID".
Set "Option" to "Current Option > Name".
