How to create a user login system in Glide?

Step 1: Create a New Project in Glide

Head over to Glide and log in to your account.
Hit the “+ New Project” button on your dashboard.
Pick the type of project you want to create, like a new app or a new page.
Choose a template or start from scratch, whatever floats your boat.

Step 2: Set Up Your Google Sheet

Open Google Sheets and create a new spreadsheet.
Add columns like Email, Password, Name, Role, etc. Make sure “Email” is one of your columns since it's crucial for user identification.

Step 3: Connect the Google Sheet to Glide

Back in Glide, go to the ‘Data’ tab and connect your new Google Sheet by selecting “Add Data Source”.
Choose Google Sheets and pick your spreadsheet. Glide will pull in your data.

Step 4: Configure User Profiles

In Glide, head to the ‘Settings’ tab and select “User Profiles”.
Turn on User Profiles by toggling it on.
Set the “User Profiles Sheet” to the Google Sheet tab where your user data is stored.
Map the email, name, and any other fields to the corresponding columns in your Google Sheet.

Step 5: Set User Authentication

In the ‘Settings’ tab, click on “Login”.
Pick your preferred login method. This can be via Email, Google login, or a mix.
