First things first, log in to Airtable. You can either whip up a new base or pick one you already have. Make sure your table has the date fields you need for the timeline view.

In your chosen table, add at least one date field. Just create a new field and set its type to "Date". If you want to show a range on your timeline, you might also need an "End Date" field.
