  Automating User Communication in Bubble.io: Workflow Automation Step-by-Step Guide     1. Set Up a New Data Type for Messages    
  • Open your Bubble.io application.
  • Go to the Data tab.
  • Click on Data Types and add a new data type called “Message”.
  • Add fields to the “Message” data type like “Sender”, “Receiver”, “Content”, “Timestamp”, etc.
    2. Create the User Interface for Sending Messages    
  • Navigate to the Design tab.
  • Drag and drop input boxes for message content and a button to send the message onto your interface.
    3. Build a Workflow for Sending Messages    
  • Go to the Workflow tab.
  • Click on the button that you added for sending messages to add a new workflow.
  • Select "When button is clicked" as the event.
  • Add an action to the workflow by clicking on "Click here to add an action".
  • Select "Data" > "Create a new thing".
  • Set the type to "Message".
  • Fill in the fields with the appropriate data, e.g., the content of the message from the input box, current user as sender, and the intended receiver.
    4. Create a Data Type for Notifications    
  • Go back to the Data tab.
  • Create a new data type called “Notification”.
  • Add fields to the “Notification” data type like “User”, “Message”, “Seen”, etc.
