Automating User Communication in Bubble.io: Workflow Automation Step-by-Step Guide 1. Set Up a New Data Type for Messages

Open your Bubble.io application.
Go to the Data tab.
Click on Data Types and add a new data type called “Message”.
Add fields to the “Message” data type like “Sender”, “Receiver”, “Content”, “Timestamp”, etc.

2. Create the User Interface for Sending Messages

Navigate to the Design tab.
Drag and drop input boxes for message content and a button to send the message onto your interface.

3. Build a Workflow for Sending Messages

Go to the Workflow tab.
Click on the button that you added for sending messages to add a new workflow.
Select "When button is clicked" as the event.
Add an action to the workflow by clicking on "Click here to add an action".
Select "Data" > "Create a new thing".
Set the type to "Message".
Fill in the fields with the appropriate data, e.g., the content of the message from the input box, current user as sender, and the intended receiver.

4. Create a Data Type for Notifications

Go back to the Data tab.
Create a new data type called “Notification”.
