How to automate database updates in Bubble.io?

Step 1: Log into your Bubble.io Account

Open your preferred web browser and go to the Bubble.io website.
Enter your login credentials to access your Bubble.io dashboard.

Step 2: Create a New App or Open Existing App

If you are starting from scratch, click on the “New App” button and follow the prompts to set it up.
If you have an existing application where you want to automate database updates, select it from the dashboard.

Step 3: Navigate to the Data Tab

Within your app editor, locate the Data tab on the left-hand sidebar.
Click on it to open the Data section which contains all the database-related functionalities.

Step 4: Create Necessary Data Types and Fields

Ensure your database is set up with the appropriate Data Types and Fields that you want to update.
Click on "Data Types" and add any necessary types and fields.

Step 5: Go to the Workflow Tab

Navigate to the “Workflow” tab in the Bubble.io editor.
This is where you will define the automated actions to update your database.

Step 6: Create a New Workflow

Click on “+ New Workflow” to start creating a new workflow.
Select the event that will trigger this workflow, such as a button click, page load, or a scheduled event.

Step 7: Add an Action to Update the Database

After selecting the event, click on the “Click here to add an action” button.
Navigate to the ‘Data (Things)’ section and opt for ‘Make changes to a thing’ or ‘Create a new thing’, depending on your requirement.
Select the data type to be updated or created.

Step 8: Define Data Changes

Specify what changes or updates need to be made to the selected data type.
Map the fields from your trigger event to the appropriate fields in the database.

Step 9: Conditional Logic (Optional)
