• Ensure that user authentication is set up so users can log in and manage their price alerts.
• Include login and signup screens in your app configuration.

 
Step 5: Create Background Tasks for Price Checking
 

• Since Adalo does not support direct background tasks, you can use external services like Zapier or Integromat to check prices periodically.
• Create a scenario in Zapier/Integromat to fetch current product prices from your database or an external API at regular intervals.
• Check if the fetched prices match the alert prices set by users. If a match is found, trigger an email to notify the user.

 
Step 6: Set Up Email Notifications
 

• Use an email service like SendGrid, Mailchimp, or another integrated solution to send notifications.
• Connect your email service to Zapier/Integromat and set up an action that sends an email when a price alert is triggered.
• Ensure the email contains relevant details like the product name, current price, and a congratulatory message.

 
Step 7: Test Your App
 

• Before going live, test your entire workflow from creating a price alert to receiving an email notification.
• Check for any issues or bugs and fix them as needed.
• Ask a few users to beta test your app to collect feedback and make necessary improvements.

 
Step 8: Deploy and Monitor
 

• Once everything is tested and working smoothly, deploy your app to the appropriate platforms (App Store, Google Play, or web).
