Step 1: Sign Up and Log in to Adalo

• Go to the Adalo website and sign up for a new account if you don’t already have one.
• Log in with your credentials to access the Adalo dashboard.

Step 2: Create a New App

• In the Adalo dashboard, click on the "Create New App" button.
• Select whether you want to create a "Native Mobile App" or a "Web App" and click "Next".
• Choose a blank template for more customization options and give your app a name. Click “Create”.

Step 3: Design Your Form Page

• Once your app is created, you'll be taken to the app’s workspace. Click on the "+" icon to add a new screen to your app.
• Select "Form" from the available screen templates.
• Rename the screen to something appropriate like "Feedback Form".

Step 4: Add Form Components

• Now, drag and drop various input components such as "Text Inputs", "Dropdowns", and "Ratings" from the left sidebar onto your Feedback Form screen.
• Customize each input component to your needs. For example, you can label a text input as "Name", "Email", or "Comments".
• Ensure to add a submit button at the bottom of the form to allow users to send their feedback.

Step 5: Set Up a Database Collection

• Go to the "Database" tab at the left of your screen.
• Click on "Add Collection" and name it something relevant like "Feedbacks".
• Add relevant properties to this collection. Properties can include "Name", "Email", "Comment", "Rating", etc.

Step 6: Link Form Inputs to Database

• Go back to your Feedback Form screen. Select each input component and set its “Save to” property to the corresponding property in your "Feedbacks" collection.
• For instance, configure the Name input to save data to the "Name" property in your database.

Step 7: Configure the Submit Button

• Select the submit button on your form.
• In the left sidebar, navigate to the "Actions" section and set the action to "Create new Feedback".
• Map each input component to its respective property in the "Feedbacks" collection.
• Optionally, add a secondary action such as redirecting the user to a "Thank You" page after submission.

Step 8: Test Your Form

• Inside the Adalo workspace, click on the "Preview" button (Play icon) to test the app.
• Fill out the form and submit it to ensure that all inputs are correctly stored in the database.
• Navigate to your database collection to confirm the feedback entries are being saved as expected.

Step 9: Publish Your App

• Once you’ve confirmed everything is working correctly, click on the "Share" button in the top right corner.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to publish your app, whether it’s a native mobile app or a web app.

Step 10: Monitor and Iterate

• Continue to monitor the feedback you receive through the Adalo database.
• Make any necessary adjustments to your form or app based on user input and feedback.
