Step 1: Login to Adalo

• Go to Adalo's website and log in with your credentials. If you don't have an account, you need to sign up first.

Step 2: Create a New App

• Once logged in, click on the "Create New App" button.
• Select a blank template to start from scratch or use a pre-built template that suits your needs.
• Name your app and choose the platform (Web/Mobile).
• Click "Create" to proceed.

Step 3: Add a Database Collection for FAQs

• Go to the Database section on the left sidebar.
• Click on "Add Collection" and name it "FAQs".
• Add properties to this collection:
• Question: Text
• Answer: Text

Step 4: Populate the FAQ Collection

• Click on the “FAQs” collection to open it.
• Click on “Add Item” to add a FAQ.
• Fill in the "Question" and "Answer" fields with the appropriate content.
• Repeat the process to add as many FAQs as you need.

Step 5: Design the FAQ Screen

• Go to the "Screens" section by clicking on it from the left sidebar.
• Click on “Add Screen” and choose a blank screen or a list screen template.
• Name the screen "FAQ Screen".
• Drag and drop a "List" component onto the screen.
• Configure the list to display data from the "FAQs" collection:
• Set the list type to be a Simple List or Custom List based on your design preference.
• Choose "FAQs" from the Data Source dropdown.

Step 6: Customize the List Component

• Inside the list component, map the data fields:
• For the Title/Text, choose "Question" from the FAQs collection.
• Add a Subtitle/Text for the "Answer".
• Style the list item to fit your design by adjusting fonts, colors, and padding as needed.

Step 7: Add Search Functionality (Optional)

• Drag and drop a "Text Input" component at the top of your FAQ Screen.
• Below the Text Input, drag and drop another "List" or your existing list.
• Configure the list to display search results:
• In the list settings, add a simple filter:
• Set the Property to "Question" and the comparator to "contains".
• Type "Magic Text" and link it to the text input component.

Step 8: Test and Publish

• Preview your app to test the FAQ section.
• Verify that all questions and answers are displayed correctly and can be searched if you added the search functionality.
• Once satisfied, proceed to publish your app to the Web or Mobile platform.
