How to Build Data Visualization Tools with Adalo

 
Step 1: Sign Up and Log In to Adalo
 

  • Visit the Adalo website.
  • Click on the "Sign Up" button if you don't have an account, or click "Log In" if you already have one.
  • Fill in the required details to create your account or enter your credentials to log in.

 
Step 2: Create a New App
 

  • Once logged in, click on "Create New App."
  • Choose a blank app or select from the templates provided by Adalo.

  • In the Adalo editor, navigate to the "Database" tab.

  • Go to the "Screens" section in the Adalo editor.
  • Click on "Add Screen" and choose the screen type that fits your dashboard or data visualization layout, such as "Dashboard" or "Blank Screen."
  • Use the components menu to drag and drop elements like text, buttons, charts, and graphs onto your screen.

 
Step 5: Integrate Charts and Graphs
 

  • Adalo offers a marketplace with components you can use. To access it, click on the "Marketplace" icon in the left sidebar.
  • Search for chart components such as "Pie Chart," "Bar Chart," "Line Graph," etc., and add them to your app.
  • Drag and drop the chart components onto your screen.

 
Step 6: Connect Data to Your Charts
 

  • For each chart component, click on it to open the settings panel on the right.
  • Configure the data source for your chart by selecting the relevant collection you created earlier.
  • Map the fields in your collection to the chart's data points. For example, for a bar chart, map the X-axis to the "Date" field and the Y-axis to the "Sales" field.
  • Configure any additional settings like filters and sorting to tailor the data visualization to your specific needs.

 
Step 7: Customize the Style and Layout
 

  • Adjust the style of your charts including colors, labels, and sizes using the settings panel.
  • Organize your screen layout to make the dashboard or reports visually appealing and easy to interpret.
